Dr. Jason Gagné currently resides in St. Louis, MO where he is Purina’s Director of Veterinary Communications and leads an amazing team of veterinarians and veterinary product advisors that provide university engagement as well as sales, marketing, and educational support to the US market. He also partners with Purina’s Research and Development scientists and external Veterinary Key Opinion leaders to drive innovation/renovation of the veterinary portfolio and develop clinical trials. Jason has authored many publications in veterinary journals and textbooks and has given scientific presentations at the national and global levels
. He serves as a scientific reviewer for leading journals and the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation. He is also a Board member at the Animal Protective Association in St. Louis, Missouri.Jason is from New York and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. After practicing in New York for a few years, he returned to Cornell and completed a small animal clinical nutrition residency. He then joined Nestlé Purina PetCare in 2012.
