We got our kitty back!

Our 12 year old Gray Tabby began having diarrhea over a year ago and we immediately thought it was going to be the big "C" and we were going to watch her decline. 3 visits to the Vets and they said she has some kind of digestive issues and prescribed special prescription cat food. We tried that but it had no effect so we decided to buy her chicken and boiled it and fed it to her. She improved some but still had diarrhea. We tried different foods, some powder additives, etc. and nothing seemed to work. This had been going on for over a year! We finally tried this dry cat food (along with the Costco Kirkland Brand wet food) and she is back to her (very bad) old kitty self!!! No diarrhea for the past month!!!! Just wish we had known about this food a year ago! It's cheaper than the Rx food. If your kitty has digestive issues, try this food ASAP. *We were worried that she wouldn't like the food but she loves it!

Great for my cat's sensitive skin. I am going to guess it tastes good because my cat eats it....it does not stink but has a meaty odor...but I less one sticks their nose in it, you cannot smell it. My cat's vet always tells us don't worry about buying expensive cat food just stick with Purina.

Ear problem

I’m writing this in case it might help another cat owner. I have a Rex cat and when he was a kitten, the vet told me the breed tends to have a sensitive stomach and recommended this cat food. I’ve been feeding it to my cat for years.My cat has had a weird ear discharge that has been investigated by the vet many times with smears and treated with drops (any cat owner would know how fun that is). My cat tends to be rather clean, bathing mostly at night right next to me as I’m trying to sleep. Anyway, I just figured he had a weird gland problem and that’s just how he is. Then this food was back ordered and I bought a different brand, poultry based. Within a week, his ears looked so much better. And at 3 weeks, his ears are really clean, no more black goop! I feel he must be allergic to something in this food. I don’t know if it’s lamb or something else, but if your cat is having this problem (and checks by the vet are all negative), try changing the food.
